The project

From a console script to a working web app.

Started as a C# console program for a university course, later rebuilt as an ASP.NET Core Razor Pages app. It runs on SQLite with no setup and switches to SQL Server with one setting.

• Students search the catalogue, borrow up to three books and return them.
• Admins manage books, students and active loans from a dashboard.
• Loans in their own table, so several copies of a title can be out at once.
• Hashed passwords, role-based access and transactional lending.
